Eddy's Chicken and Pizza

If you’re wandering around Runcorn and craving something fast, filling, and full of flavour, Eddy's Chicken and Pizza at 6 High St, WA7 1AU might just be your next go-to spot. Whether you're on a solo food mission or looking to cure late-night cravings, Eddy's delivers the kind of comfort food that doesn’t try to impress with frills - it hits straight to the taste buds with what matters: solid portions, halal-friendly offerings, and bold flavours.

Let’s talk food, shall we? One of the first things you’ll spot flying out of the kitchen is their garlic bread - simple, golden, and deliciously fragrant. It’s the kind of starter that sets the tone. There’s something unapologetically satisfying about how buttery and crisp it is, with just enough garlic to keep it bold but not overwhelming. For those who love their carbs on the toasty side, this one’s worth ordering with just about anything on the menu.

Now, while the pizza might be the name in lights, don’t underestimate their burgers. The Pubic Burger - yes, oddly named but oddly popular - packs a meaty punch. Generous patties, sauces layered with just the right kick, and a fresh bun that doesn’t collapse under the pressure. It’s juicy, flavour-packed, and built for a proper feast. Pair it with a side of crispy fries or some of their spicy wings, and you’ve got yourself a dinner that satisfies without the wait.

What sets Eddy’s apart from your average takeaway is its reliable consistency. The place runs a tight ship for takeaway and delivery, which is the entire focus - no dine-in distractions, just a kitchen firing up your favourites and getting them out the door while they’re still hot. And yes, late-night food lovers, rejoice: Eddy's caters to those post-10PM munchies when other places have long since shut their ovens off. Whether you're ordering after a long shift, during a gaming session, or just too tired to cook, they’ve got your back.

And in case you're wondering about inclusivity - the menu is halal, which makes Eddy’s a reliable choice for a wide range of dietary preferences. That kind of transparency matters when you're picking your regular Friday-night treat or grabbing lunch between meetings.

Speaking of lunch and dinner, Eddy’s covers both with ease. It’s the kind of place where you could swing by for a quick bite at noon, or make it your evening cheat-meal destination. Even dessert options are on hand for those who want to round things off with something sweet, though the savoury lineup tends to steal the spotlight.

Now, let’s be clear - Eddy’s isn’t here to compete with fine-dining or trendy fusion spots. There’s no artistic plating or ten-minute explanations of micro-herbs. What it is, however, is a dependable, straightforward takeaway that knows its crowd: people who want good food, fast, and with the kind of bold, familiar flavours that never miss.

While the venue itself doesn't offer dine-in or even a toilet facility, that’s not really a downside when you're ordering for home. Eddy’s keeps the focus on food delivery done right - no bells, no whistles, just solid value and hot meals when you need them most.

So if you're in the area, craving a juicy burger or some garlicky pizza goodness, and want it fast - Eddy's Chicken and Pizza might just be the kind of place you'll bookmark after the first bite.

The moaners on here leaving bad reviews are stupid, moaning about delivery charge if you know everytime they dont add the £ on then add it on yourself when you get off the phone lol dumbass... moaning about delivery pay do you think petrol is free??? Also who pays the delivery driver??? Also dont you have legs yourself lazy get and go to the shop...Ill leave a proper review, the guys all seem decent unlike alot arrogant customer services elsewhere... but the foods really good, the chicken tastes decent price is decent.. its one of the best chicken places around and the chips with red salt are a winner... felt i need to leave this cause unfair for someone that puts money into a business for idiots to just leave one star reviews and ruin their reps just cause they themselves need education , manners and a brain... bad reviews are certainly chavvy scum that live on the dole ..
